Police crack down on striptease funerals...

And it didn't even appear in the People's Daily, I'm amazed. This is usually what passes for news with them.

That's freaking awesome. I love it how they're all about honoring the dead by having a lot of people come out to the funeral, oh and let's have strippers to get them to come out. Brilliant. I think that should start catching on over here in the states. Can't you just see it? Right after the eulogy the mourning widower gets a lap dance. Maybe pole dancers around the casket... who knows where it could go?

And once again, for those of you who missed it, this story was featured during the lightening round on NPR's "Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me." So, read my blog, then listen to the game on your local NPR station over the weekend with friends. They'll be impressed at the trivia you know...especially about Chinese strippers.
